Use this simple, lightweight solution to treat water on short hiking or camping trips. For larger groups or extended trips, a mechanical filter may be preferable. Purifying tabs are also excellent for travelling or for adding to emergency preparedness kits.
Add one tablet to 1 litre of water. Dissolve tab and shake bottle. Wait 30 minutes before drinking water. To treat uncut fruits and vegetables, add 5 tabs to 500ml of water. Soak fruits and vegetables for 10 minutes.
