Our mission has always been simple: to equip you with the best gear, knowledge, and support so you can explore the outdoors safely, confidently, and with a deep respect for the natural world.
We specialize in gear and apparel for climbing, hiking, paddling, and backcountry skiing – because those are the things we’re out there doing ourselves. From performance outerwear and technical footwear to harnesses, tents, ropes, SUP boards, and avalanche gear, we carefully curate our selection based on real-world use and trusted brands. Whether you're heading into the alpine, hitting the local crags, or exploring Squamish’s endless trail networks, we’re here to help you find what you need.
Looking to try something new? We also offer seasonal rentals for kayaks, paddleboards, and ski touring setups, so you can get out and explore without having to own all the gear. We’ll make sure you’ve got everything from PFDs to dry bags to skins and shovels – whatever the season calls for.
What really makes Valhalla Pure Squamish special is our team. We’re proud locals who spend our days off climbing The Chief, touring in the backcountry, or paddling the Sound. We bring that experience to every conversation in the shop, offering you honest, knowledgeable advice based on what works in real Squamish conditions.
